So, i spoke to a friend who works in a body shop and he kindly accepted to take on my wheels to change the colour of them. As it was a foreigner he could prep them at his then just take them into work and spray them.
He got right to it, sanding back the red and improving upon my the centre caps i had previously smoothed.

I got him to show me some grey colour chips but my previous choice of the BMW sparkling graphite still shouted out to me.

Whilst having the wheels off i decided to take off the front discs as they were very corroded from not being used, i cleaned them up using the razzer at work and sprayed them black to help keep the rust off for now.

New front lambda sensor, i had to extend the wiring as the plug wasnt long enough. The sensor i removed had alot longer length to it and couldnt have been a standard z-let sensor.

New oil pressure gauge from Glowshift and a auto meter roll cage pod mount.

I removed my oil gallery adapter and removed the standard oil pressure gauge sensor, a m14 to 1/8th npt adapter was fitted and then screwed back into the oil gallery.

As i havnt changed the oil since the engine rebuild i bought 25litres of cheap 10/40 and a couple of filters. I've changed the oil now and will do again after mapping and so forth up until i use it for some track/drag event.

Magnetic sump plug bought too, for anybody that wants to know, its a m14 thread and cost a fiver. If you search for one specifically for a xe/let then there around 10quid.

Looking great, love the wheel colour. Why did you not paint he inside of the wheel?
Ive always been a fan of dark wheels but yours look great against the blue with the little touch of red, caliper and cage.
