bumper looks well imo ad!
If you give Mark a call at Jamsport and ask him, It was that long ago I cant remember what it was, We had the same problem though, a new crank sensor and new firmware sorted it, Mine is a v6 too, but I remember having to re flash it....should have bought omex :P haha
Mark already knows the issues after he replied to my thread on MIG.
Like the bumper Ad.
Side strips would need to go IMO for it to "work" though?
Yeah i know what you mean mate. Only issue is there clip on, meaning im going be left with clips/holes down the side of the car. Was thinking of just removing them, painting them bumper colour and refitting.....
I think the bumpers would go well with the mouldings ad i like the bumpers in the colour they are already what colour was you thinking of doing them?
Similar colour tbh, actually probably the same colour as the front is now lol
I think it would go then mate IMO if you removed the mouldings the side would look too bold they kind of break up the colour if you know what i mean lol.Quote:

Bumper looks loads better. How about painting below the side rub strips as well SR style, that would work.
Yea agreed ^^^^ that would tie everything in IMO too.Quote:

I prefer it as it is now tbh
Cheers for the 'shops Southie. Still preferring the all dark front end.
Vinyl down the sides is a good plan although ive never really been a fan of it, no vinyl/sidestrips looks better IMO, but my strips are staying so i'll have to think about what do.
Still no go on the GoTech, beginning to pi** me off now tbh
another unhappy go tech customer just sell it and get something half decent, seriously megasquirt is better than thatQuote:

Sorry to here about the go tech issues dude, as for the front end, i like the look of it...BUT it makes your car look less street sleeper, and i liked the early sleeper look yours was/is pulling off with the normal bumper on.
Just my opinion.
Scott
Disco-Ive got a few more things to try before writing it off, cheers to Mark B @ Jamsport for his advice.
Scott-Yeah i get exactly what you mean mate, but im a bit bored of the look atm, so need do something change it.... :)
IF you want something different, try the early style grill the count had on his saloon, the square checked one, and the GTE bumper but not painted, just looks gash to me! lol
Maybe it needs a pin strip through the bumper, trims & rear bumper?
I prefer the bumper. I wouldn't paint it.
I have a red pinstripe all round...
If i fitted the gte front that would be getting a red stripe too :)
keep the gte/sr front, look's much better, and get the GTE rear bumper flick too :)

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes oh i've cum.
Gotta say i'd mount the ecu in the kick panel bit. Does seem good having it sitting on the floor like that.
Thats the plan Ste :)
Benn, yeah mate when/if i get the ecu working its getting bolted to the kick panel :)
:cool:Quote:

Ive got a rpm reading, ive got a rpm reading!!!!
[ does girly dance lol /]
And ive got 4 bar fuel pressure. Its not firing up yet though, either injectors aint doing there thing, or im going no spark. Will have to have another look when it aint pissing down.
Pics/vids of said dance required. Good to hear you're making progress, I can't wait to drive it (please!). :)
cool, nice dude - bet you can't wait!
i think it went like this lol

Lmao /\ lol
Just got get the bastid running now!!!!!
what did you do file the blcok /sensor to get it sitting closer to the trigger wheel?
Filed the f**k out the sensor mate, hope the sensor never dies as i cba do it to another sensor!!!
If you look at the sensor, it has like a rib on it just before the flat edge where the bolt hole is, ive basically filed that totally flat.
what rpm is it reading on cranking? it will need to be over 300rpm before the injectors etc will try to fire if its anything like the emerald
Ive got the 2 green led's flashing on the ecu, 1 is coilpack out and one is injector output, Sooooo both the coilpack and injectors should be firing.
I was getting around the 200rpm mark, battery needs another charge though as i was cranking a while trying get it working with the metal crank sensor....
oh ok should fire up soon then :)
I can smell fuel around the bodies, so i think im either getting no spark, or its sparking at the wrong time
