Still cheaper the a whole exhaust system I suppose...
I'll probably end up fitting one with my new exhaust, more to cut out the drone on long trips e.g the ring.

The increase in back pressure could fook an engine which is really why i'm not so keen on using one on ours considering what were doing with our car.
What Rick Draper had made for his nova turbo is what you need ideally although I wouldn't want to be following him when it falls off mid corner lol
Hayward and Scott make very high quality exhaust systems, I know several people with exhausts from them who's cars aren't that noisy at all.
You get what you pay for though, like anything really.
I cant see the airbox being a problem on your car Olz, should fit fine
regarding the airbox - i bladdy hope so - else i'll have to sell it on and have a re-re-rethink again lol
just check out pics of lee303s, and you'll see what i mean about the exit of the box hovers where the brake fluid res bottle should be.
can't run it drivers side as it prodrudes out the side of the bodies too much and would deffo foul on the strut
big balls of fire
basically, got the airbox today and it doesn't fit at all. completely fouls the brake fluid resevoir bottle and cap.
had a rethink, and rather than mounting the backing plate half way up the 90s in order to keep them, i thought, i'll swap to 45s, and mount it directly on the trumpets as it should be - still fouled tho - even worse than before.
anyone have any other ideas of an airbox style thing to reduce the induction roar?
:(
that was an expensive test now wasn't it lol bloody ?231.94! :( :wtf:
Have you tried it over the drivers side?
Definently wont fit there either?
yup, tried that, and for how much it protrudes horizontally, it almost hits my bonnet strut lol
Remove the brake servo and use a corsa set up. Weight saver too:thumb:
But he has the fuel swirl pot etc etc where the corsa setup would need to go.
And a corsa setup means you need to make up new brake lines for the car to fit the new mc position....
