Don't tell me, the wife went out for a pint of milk and you felt lonely and needed some retail solace :d
Is there no end to your extravagance?
Loving this, going to be copying it before you get a patent on it!Quote:

have you a link or companys website for the rose joint track kit? i am looking for one but need to see if they can make a wider one for my wide arch nova.
PM incoming sir
Errr, I think I had to work the weekend and I was so enraged at the fact I bought the suspension to calm down. then my mate asked if I'd bought the VBox yet so I figured I'd better buy one of them quick too!!
There is more extravagance on it's way.
The breather was relatively easy, I love the proper braided hose and fittings, looks smart
Numbers listed are ebay item numbers.
M16x1.5 to AN-8 adapter (150840139125), braided PTFE hose (160396772849), 90 elbow (170817312188) and straight AN-8 ends (171125027129), I've ordered a catch can (291666230658) that accepts AN-8 too, just waiting on arrival.
One 14.5mm drill bit (291162055370), with a turned down shank to fit in your drill (most battery drills are only 13mm chuck)
One M16x1.5mm tap (181804980368)
One M16 copper washer (280675757460)
The barbs come out really easy, I started with a 12mm drill bit I think, moving up to a 12.5, just drill into it with a bit of pressure and it'll "snag" and start to spin the barb out of the cam cover. Once out, drill to 14.5, tap, copper washer. I put a straight end on the hose to make it look ok while I'm waiting for the catch can.
Same process for the small barb, just drilled it out and tapped it to 6mm, bolt, copper washer.
You are a gentleman and a scholar sir, the items are all noted, though I'll need to substitute the 0.5 ltr catch tank with a 1 ltr one to satisfy MSA regs.
I second that emotion, though I'm only interested in the standard kit, the SFWD kit is very nice but a tad pricey for my wallet and as I already have a set of HH Uniballs on the shelf it would be nice to use them...
So nice Mr Iain could you PM me too?
would there be much interest in a group buy for the kit? would be worth mentioning it to him. i will defiantly be buying a kit next month.
Been busy this afternoon.
Due to the amount of work I've got this week and next before Cadwell, looks like I'm working another weekend, I can't say I'm happy about it, I blame the Brexit!!!! lol
So......Can't get to get the car setup, thought I'd try this!!!

Not intended as a setup option, merely to see how the 2 sides were compared with each other. I know the tyre bulges at the bottom and I don't accept the results, but....

Passenger Side
http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c1...425A6A0D98.jpg
Assuming the floor is level (which it probably isn't, I did look and it was close) atlweast both sides are the same, If 90 is 0 degrees camber then 88.4 means 1.6 negative. On the old suspension I was seeing 0.75 on one wheel and 1.7 on the other so at least this looks the same!!
Onto tracking
Mocked up some turn plates

Splash of oil between the 2, it'll do for this old shonky build.

String line set-up
http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c1...46C7402EBE.jpg
Paralleled to the rear wheels
Front wheels, with the steering wheel dead straight

The passenger side looks parallel, wound it out to be 2mm closer at the front of the wheel compared to the rear, repeated on the driver side, test drove, back of the net.
It'll do for Cadwell and until I can get a proper setup done.
Then Jay sent me a sexty whatsapp this morning, lucky I was in a lift car at the time, this made my willy feel funny.
first up alt pulley dowel as Jay had to fettle to holes to get all 6 bolts in.

The whole lot was then un-bolted and put back together to make sure when it goes together it's still within tolerance.
