Getting them in 5 stud (to save hassel) and in a good fitting size will be tricky...
David, so be a ps with Ronal t's too.. Had one ages ago..
Im trying to find a decent doner pic to show you what i would do if it was my car :)
If you can wait till tomorrow then the worlds your oyster for wheel ps's ;)Quote:

Wasn't happy that the king lead was blue, so painted it. Not good as its broken down the rubber, so when i started it sat morning and it ran like crap and i touched the leads while the engine was running it gave me a shock.. Quite a big shock. So a start king lead will hide better, need to heat shrink or cover the loom that go's to the hall affect sensor, as its a bit untidy.Quote:

See because of all the messing with the doors i didn't go alot i normally do.Quote:

Now you see why i'd like different rims.Quote:

Theyd keep up with the standard of the rest of the car.
Yeah, finding them in 5stud might be hard tho..Quote:

Ordered new pads, as one has been contaminated with Cv grease, hopping that's why it pulls a little to one side.
My equal length shafts getting some loving at the mo too ;)
New rear number plate has been ordered too, totally blank.
Spent the weekend doing little bits.
New CTS fitted, new arm and freshly painted dizzy cap, but its still missing and bogging down when cold.
Fitted sound deadening to my doors, so they have a nice solid sound. Cover the insides in a rust proofing wax stuff too.
Cut my air filter down abit more, trimmed my bumper "mouth" a little more to give more IC clearance. Bumpers now been all sanded down so it can be painted before billing.
Great mod, makes the panels sound a lot tighter and less like a tin shed. also helps reduce road noise too. :thumb:Quote:

Yeah i like to do it, makes the doors sound thicker and nicer.
Question with the sliggishness & missing
Have you changed the leads?
Sluggishness will be down to the lack of phase 2 chips ;)
At the mo no, i changed the king lead, as the prob started when i messed with it.
Maybe Si, if it only the fpg i'd need to upgrade when doing it?
Sh*t!! Just won a set of brand new seat runner covers, £27quid.
Change the leads Benn.
The coil ok Benn? check the insulation for any damage or cracks.
You got the hot start valve plumbed in?
Cant even see the coil, some one hide it quite well..lolQuote:
