Probably wont do much good for your hp tho.
Assuming your going to get a proper exhaust made up mate?
Going to have to sit down and go though all this myself in a few months time :(

would sooner lose a couple of bhp than waste a couple of hundred quid trackday.
probably wont bother changing my system just yet
With you on that one... Just a shame that they can hold race days that are VERY noisey but a track day car thats just a bit over the limit is a no no
makes no sense :S
Surely its teh TBs that are making the racket though?Quote:

Maybe worth seeing what the noise levels are like with the airbox fitted.
That alone might bring them right down.
As i know when i had carbs fitted, i couldn't even hear any exhaust noise at all, over induction noise.
youll be getting excessive backpressure with that thing in olz, and may well be worthwhile having it remapped to suit
I can't personally hear the exhaust over the gearbox or the TBs lol
As said - I'll see how I can go at Rockingham, but I'll have a few devices to try should I get black flagged.
Imo, just the airbox should sort it :)
As your running only slightly over the limits, and the airbox should take a fair lot of noise out the induction.
collected the backing plate today, as they said they had the airbox, but didnt lol hey ho
i can continue cutting that in half, and making the tabs to mount them half way up my trumpets ala lee303
You should be ok without your changes at Rockingham
