Will be getting some longer trumpets thought to get the inlet length longer
Those bodies look well tasty, what are they? Look fully CNC'd and I'm sure I've never noticed that with SBD's before and the only others I know of are jenveys and dbilas 'fake' TB's lol
novatech bodies - as good as u can get really..
they look way better than any jenvey boring crap. look like theyre about to go on a night out lol..
90mm trumpets bringeth oneth the??
Yes, they are billet Novatech NTR bodies. Old skool bodies!!! Rare to even see a set these days.
Dave, got to take a few measurements and see what length trumpets are ideal. The firewall is coming out the bay anyways, so any length will fit fine
Had a twitch in my boxers seeing the bodies then...
Dug the bodies and inlet out the loft today
They need a quick clean, but they should be spot on when fitted!

blue xe injectors..?
:d
They are proper buff and you call me bufty...lol
They are a bit bufty for a track car lol
Might need to make them look a bit more 'ard lol
Get the matt black rattle can out Ad ;)
I think you may find yourself disorientated in the middle of nowhere while a group of PNG'ers fight with each other and your manifold bolts at the first show of the year tbh lol
Them TB's look like the stuff AT do now, pretty cool too dude, but dont buy new trumpets just try them to start with etc.
Scott
wow, this has come on alot since I last looked! Very impressed. Did those TB's come from a guy at the end of the M4? - white GSi? I cant remember his name, but I had the 1650 8v bottom end of him and seem to remember seeing those on the bench.
Hmm i like bodies, get them on! stop messing about!

saying that, to fit the charger on my 1.6 cost about £400 in total, it worked, but was dangerous, if id have thrown 1000's at it like i would of done, it would of exploded a lot sooner lol
Budget builds are way cooler anyway!!!
and heres me spending hundreds of pounds on stickers lol
Very nice Adam budget ftw!
Ad, the trumpets are available from sbd iirc. I priced them for some carbs, iirc they're about 45 quid?
Hats off to you for managing what you do on your budget fella!
Good buying skills for spending little.
Just read through all 256 pages of this (took me 3 days!). Awesome project though, I'm really liking where it's going. Keep it up! :thumb:
