wasnt mapped poorly just strong up top

oh yeah good one...because i said it didnt need rebuilding! point is you dont need someone who builds btcc motors to build that LET back up.

id start looking at what definately caused it too melt so doesnt happen again. all good say ignition, but id want to know if it was ignition why it funked up.

what plugs were you using out of curiousity?

Well if you have someone who lives less than a mile away that works for a BTCC team as a builder/engineer and he offered to do it, then why would you not??

I know what you are saying, but with over 400 bhp and even more torque, I would want someone who could build it reliably tbh....

i have no data logging software but having checked everything and checked again

I didnt realise - I thought that is was 'OK'?

So who is going to map it next time?

not sure yet mate one step at a time lets get the engine built, fitted and running again and then decide long way to go till then!

if want it mapping and dont mind the distance..iirc didnt you take it jdm?

my mates are very good. 2 mates ive built lets for are running 400+bhp. but im up north wales, so good few hours trailering, and the lads dont charge the earth either or bull**** you with anything
