Absolutely loving the retrimming dash parts
Very very
White stitching also finishes it off
Si, thanks dude, was really hopping this year would be blue...
Connor, Thank you very much.
Fitted the brace, gave it a quick glaze and wax but need to clean off around the welds, changed the one way valve in the oil breather, got all my sunroof trim back in.

Not sure what to do with the nuts to sex them up a bit.

in that an inverted stud so to speak buddy ???
No, stud still comes up from the top mount, the nut was a bolt. That has been cut down to leave a shoulder that sits thru the brace. Has a M8 hole with thread taped up the insides.
Strut Brace looks excellent, a credit to the fabricator, organiser and polisher
Yes, i've thanked him a few times.
Bay is looking awesome now! Only improvement I can think of is a carbon fibre scuttle cover?
I like the plastic the covers made from as it kinda matches the top hat cover...
Need a new air filter tho, really dont like that one. Want the afm tucked away as much as poss too.
What make is the filter Benn?
That's a cheap Ripspeed one, Got it case it fitted. Cant really find one i like..
What it tucked away nicely. Looking at a cheap k&n on demon tweeks web site.
Stunning work as always, one im still looking forward to seeing at the shows this year, are you doing pvs or avoiding it like most of the more sensible ones of us lol
If you look at pic of my bay Benn you'll see the afm is the other way up and the plug clips in underneath. Looks much neater that way and easily done.
Brace looks great by the way!
Nick.
I do every show by Trax.
I'll be at Pvs, Billing, Tv live and Combe in sept.
Pvs is a chav fest, but i still enjoy it for the people and cars i know.

*is the smoothed cap in the pics? *goes to check*
lol single. And yes it is. Dont like the look of the Nova one, so used a mk4 Astra one. But they have yellow writing over the top.. Bit messy.
Heres a question for you. Would the 1.2 oil filler cap fit a LET? Mines polished and it'll look better than the yellow thing they normally have.
Never thought of the brake fller cap, always thought the Nova one looked ok (as it's clear... well my one is)
Yes, all oil caps are the same in the Gm range. I take them off everything in the scrappy.
They are, but i don't have the wiring for it for a start.
Goooood, polished one it is.
No, sorry benn, don't like the engine bits at all, time to break it....my shoppings lists on it's way:thumb:
lol ok Jeff. I'll go back to a 1.4.
Looks supertight benn!
I must admit Ben, that does look the Dogs Bo!!ocks :) How much did it cost you?Quote:

For the strut nuts I wonder if you could get some chrome covers for them, similar to what's used on picture frame screws.
Another great touch to a great car, it keeps on getting better Benn.
Benn, these are the ones I got for my topmounta, if you tap the bolt out of the mount you could get some of these. The ones I got are 25mm,l

Liking the brace. Brings it all together. I always wanted a fearless one. Maybe one day if i have a nova again.
lol enough, they have to have templates made then picked apart and re made and so on. So they where £££Quote:

Cheers Adam, By still needs more tiding up.
More tiding up? Only way I can think of tiding up your bay is to remove the engine and everything under the bonnet.
Oh and another thing... where's the new doors and handles?
;)
I re primered the door after work tonight, as i was fully happy with them. Found a small dent and ripple. Can flat that tomoz then be ready for paint, really wanna be able to refit them this weekend.
Bay wise, i hate the air filter, i want the afm tucked right down my the slam, with less air pipe. Leads are to long and messy, still missing two shiney rocker cover bolts (some one at billing slagged me off for that) Dont like that you can see the wipe motor either, but cant to anything about that as the cut out if for when the spindle turns.
Be nice to see the doors finished and fitted benn fire some pictures up when you get a chance :thumb:
i painted my interior plastic trims today thanks for the info about what you used im please with the out come :)
Tommy
There will be pics, you know me ;)
And that's cool.
Just looked back at the bay pics after you listed your hates. I hadn't noticed the corsa setup fitted! How did you mod it in the end? Must of missed that update! lol
