You as usual dont know what your talking about. The only thing on your list that is prone to failure is the gearbox and cv's, and thats only due to the way these cars usually get abused. the thing thats common to fail on these cars that you didnt mention are the rear axel's when they are excessively lowered.

i did have a cobalt blue one, loved it to bits! i have got a saxo at home i need to find a home for before i can sort anything out in regards to new cars! i need a run around for when i take the loon off the road though!

Wheel bearings usually go due to wrong driveshafts being fitted.
