whats pissed you off today?

Some nobber who is obviously very unsuccessfully trying to contact me to pursue an insurance claim.

Basically a few weeks ago when it was really windy I opened my door and the wind swung it into the Smart car parked next to me. It hit it right in the middle of the door and bent it in (they are plastic by the way). There was no other damage and it would have popped out easily - even our lass said so, so I was tempted to **** off. But I did the right thing and left my details with the car park staff, then took some photos to cover myself in.case they tried exaggerating the damage.

Ever since I have been bombarded with phone calls...all from a private number in work time and they never leave a voicemail. So at this rate they will still be trying to ring me this time next year lol

cant you just answer the calls and see what they want?

Found out today a simple engine swap wasn't so bloody simple.
X14xe from a mk4 Astra that I've bent the valves on, isn't the same as an x14xe from a tigra/Corsa b. I've had to swap all the timing end for the engine mount, and then found out I cant fit the Astra rocker cover to the tigra head as it mounts differently, which I kind of need as the Astra runs a coil pack and the tigra runs a separate coil and HT leads.
And then even worse then that...I CAN'T FIND MY ANGLE GRiNDER :mad:

i know what you mean.. that corsa i bought off turbojolt had the wrong head fitted.....its now got an x16xel with rocker cover, and the manifold wouldn't fit either cos the rocker cover is taller.... so i have had to sort that out too...

traveled all the way back down south for my trial and they have increased my charges to abh, so now i have to go to crown court


****ing bull**** charge in the first place, should have been dropped for the start now i really need to get this nova done so i can sell it if i get time :roll:

My job has annoyed me today!

I handed my notice in about 2 weeks ago and was told that i could be paid any leftover leave after ive finished
This week im told that force policy dictates that i actually take all outstanding leave otherwise ill just lose it. So i have 2 and a half weeks left and 50 hours to use.
So i put in a request to have the next 3 night shifts off and im told that me not being here will actually leave our squad short so can i pick some other days.
How about no!!
Stupid management instead of paying me flat rate for the outstanding hours are now paying someone time and a half overtime to cover me!
Now i know some of you would say waaa you are being forced to take time off so what. Im annoyed at the fact that they are forcing me even though it will cost them more and still trying to make me feel guilty about what days i pick

No wonder this force is broke! Common sense fail

unfortunately, the people in this land who are good with money rarely work for government run departments..

i know a bloke who worked for the audit commission (before they were disbanded by the govt) and some of the stories of incompetence that he uncovered are amazing..

govt depts price something up after a committee has stuck its oar in & completely changed the project, they always overspec everything & never, ever allow any funds for maintenance of the project after the completion date.

Came in from work to be greeted by a letter form wonga.com claiming i owe them £124 due to arrears in a loan i took out.Thats funny i thought to myself as i have never taken a loan out with them :mad: rang them up and they wont tell me when the loan was taken out and who/which bank account it was paid into due to the data protection act.Data protection data f***ing protection its my name on the letter and its my name/address that has been scammed. The same thing happened to my workmate. A year down the line and it's still not sorted even got refused a loan from his bank because of the effect on his credit rating.

That is what is concerning me, i have a mortgage and one credit card thats it no other loans or anything and i just hope its not going to muck around with my credit rating.

also cant get any decent insurance qoutes on anything deisel e.g combo/corsa/astra.. ****ing ridiculous :( might just get a 5 door nova to use as a work van and kill..
