Just got back in from Track and Road :) Had a loopy drive in it on the way home which was appreciated :)
Power @ flywheel 197.7hp @ 7620rpm
Power @ wheels 174.1hp
Torque 148.9lb ft
Fantastic results !
Ollys "chuffed" yet nigh on asleep lol
Vids to follow
We got there to find Giles off mig with his rather tasty xe'd powered Cavalier which was good to see, once again a great service from both Steves @ Track and Road on both cars.
Looking forwards to vids, and it would be an Olly update if there wasnt pics...
Great results
Martin
Sounds all good then Ol, will be nice to see the vids.. 197, lol so close...
Cheers lads, yeh, I'm very happy with the results, especially considering the mods, or lack of, the engine has.
Very very thorough mapping by Steve Greenald & Steve Pitcher really really cannot recommend those guys enough, and once I have videos sorted I'll be hosting them on YouTube.
I said before I went, that I would be happy with 190bhp (165atw) and 150lbft, so it's exceeded expectations... and thats real horsepower too, the accuracy is phenominal, they changed the ign adv to see if we can get the 1% to make it 200, but it came back with 197.6bhp, so the consistancy was unreal.
As said by the Steves, on any other rollers, it'd probably make 200 lol
Not alot of footage, but I'll put together what I have and host it anyway, as I said i would for the guys at TnR.
Will post up graph in a tick once JB's sorted his scanner out
Thats a fantastic looking graph!!!
Well done olly, youve got yourself a great engine there
Cheers Ad, we've just put my graph, and your 222.4bhp graph together, and we have identical WHP figures! :)
Would be great to see them both on track together soon... :thumb:
Glad it went very well for you Olly.
That graph looks awesome, really is a credit to how good the mappers on when they get graphs that smooth.
