good idea bat man, ill see how the calibra one goes tomorrow, and then report back and then source a GTE one.
thanks :)
tilt the rad so the bottom points forwards, makes it easier to fit and cools better.
ok so i made my alternator bracket.
worked it all out, made sure it fitted and came up with this.

and as for the rad, i went and looked at the calibra one and it was HUGE so i didnt even bother removing it lol.
and ages ago my mate gave me a golf one i think, about the same size as the beamer one i had, the same amount of cores and FPI so it will be ok.
and its thin, the brackets are still in development stage lol.

Rad looks tip top.
Brackets also tiiiiidy:)
See that rad is close to Nova size etc, and it fits a treat!
good going.
Still think you should try a nova one, least the inlet/outlets will be in a better place then..
Scott
That little rad look suspciously like an EK Civic item to me.
Martin, i run a 1.2 corsa rad on my XE nova mate and no cooling issues here.
thanks for the help guys, you make me sleep at night lol.
and my mate had it from his golf. so im sure its a golf rad lol. but i can get a part number from it and buy a new one if i ever need to.
and yeh yeh scott parker, it fits well thanks! haha, and i did think about the inlets, but i will just run a pipe along the top into the thermo etc.
