Off to greyhounds at Kinsley tomorrow for my birthday, should be a laugh

Surviving a 32 mile ride with the retro-bike boys today, was a horrific headwind, maybe 30+ mph, and still managed a wheelie across the carpark back to the cars afterwards lol
Surely that headwind was just wind half the time?
Caker of a job tonight at work so 12 hours at double time to chill out really :)

replaced the frontend/slam panel on the nova :) all lined up first time and wings bonnet bumpers fitted all ok :) very very happy :)

getting the veg patch sorted in my garden,and getting it all planted.
Got loads on the go this year.
Just bought a new genuine Gsi bumper unpainted and a new set of side skirts never used and they were only ten minutes away from my house and cheap too !
Will be satisfying when they are ready...my mum grows all sorts on her allotment, so much nicer than supermarket stuffQuote:

andy, if you don't already grow it, plant some sweetcorn... very few food stuffs compare to that cut straight off the plant, cleaned & thrown into boiling water for about 5 mins.. followed by putting a little butter on it & eating it.... you'll be cross eyed with pleasure

How big do they get? Would i get away with using one of them flexy rubber type plastering buckets?? Got one spare that i used at my old house last year.
Bucket should be ok but they can grow to 5/6 foot tall
they go to about 4'6" & need a cane. the stuff you see in the field in england is not edible for humans & grows way taller... i once tried to convince a gang of brickies that they really shouldn't bother nicking a load from the adjacent field as it would be like bullets & taste shyte... but as is common knowledge, brickies always know better lol lol

Washed the combo number five tonight, and after banging half a tube of tiger seal around the brake servo seal last week, the damp spot on the drivers footwell, didnt get any bigger :d
Also pulled the sunvisors out as they properly grafted and hanging, gave them a scrub up, before and after....
