Mate, if you aren't in any rush to get it finished then I'd really get the bodywork straight as poss. I had so many ripples on my bodywork that it was a nightmare to get them out (so I was told) and you will notice them everytime you look at it.

You'll be able to tell if it's straight when it's in primer.

I know what you're saying about the caps but the polished cap looks good and will match the Irmscher writing, plus it just looks a tad more retro-cool in my eyes. I've got my one off the 1.2 in a cupboard. Will be putting that to good use when the LET goes in :d

I'll try and get it as best I can - Doing it all myself though so it's only me to blame if it looks s*it! Pointless sending it away to someone when I have the basic knowledge etc and can do it myself

Don't see why there ruined lol Quick rub down and blast of silver paint and they'd be good as new

Got s*it loads of them and a mate has a wheen as well so could have about 10 if I wanted lol

Get me a set of 4 mint unpainted ones then. :thumb:

Be quite hard to get 4 MINT ones but some 'refurbished' ones would be easy enough to obtain :)

Not quite mint then 4 clean unrefurbed lol

I'll see what I can get lol If I pushed my luck I'd might be able to get 9 or 10 of them lol
