I just think yours will have a little more individuality with no skirts thats all, I wish mine didnt have them either tbh but its done now, at the end of the day its your call fella! Unsure which car you meant regarding pv?? Have a quick look at my wip sometime to clear the confusion! :)Quote:

Been a while so..
After reading a thread on Astramk2.com we've found a breath that gets block and can affect the idel and can make it oil at high rpm as its the oil pressure oil breather..
This one..

Wasnt as bad as Dans on his Gte, but it was hard and blocked.
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...p/IMG_4255.jpg
Got it clean with a lot of carb cleaner and a few watch makers screw drivers..
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...p/IMG_4256.jpg
Also finely got got my new headlining in..

Just need to sort out the sun roof pannel, think i'm gonna remove it and flock the whole thing, as thats the factor finish but in cream, will be done black to match, aslong with the trim and sunvisors

Befor Billing i repair and repainted both rear quarters as i wasnt happy with them,
After a bit of flatting and polishing..

At Billing i noticed that the colour hadnt been put on right and was a bit light so..
Stripped again..

On my xe engines ive always drilled that bit out to open it up. If you look its narrower inside than the rest of the tube. it will only get blocked up easily again otherwise. Just make sure you drill it straight and will be fine
loooooking gooo Mr benn, I might go for a Black headlining at some point. Are they a bugger to do???
The inside of it is smaller than the pipes on either side, if you drill it out wrong it will mess up the idel and then your screwed.Quote:

Thos one fits really well, need a clip that gos in the sun roof casset tho as the bars abit low, it came with extra to cut off when fitted which was really handy, but the center bit where the hole is wasnt big enough so thats why i gotta work out what to do with that bit.
Ive never had a problem with it, just make sure you drill down straight and there wont be any problems.
Just thought id mention it while you have it out
You really shouldnt drill it anless the drill is the same size as the most inner hole, this is what Darronh of Astramk2 did and it screwed the idel speed up as its a main breather.
Mines clear now with just a bit of carb cleaner and a screw driver..
When its clear you can see the hole on the inside if a different size.
Where did you get the roof lineing ben?
A small trimmers in porstmouth, started at 80, guy couldnt remember what he quoted me so i said 70, my dad picked it up, and it was someone else there who didnt know the price. My dad rung me and asked i said 60, my dad said 50? Then gave the guy 50sheets..lol bargin.
