What'd they feel/work like? Also how much if you don't mind?
Came to £95 delivered. :tard: They feel good, enough stopping power for my little 1600 although not sure they're worth the extra money over standard replacement pads, they weren't particularly bad as standard.
How bad is the finish compare to the standard paint? I have a car parking dent on the rear arch thats cracked the paint :( and is now rusting... Could really do with treating it!
You can definitely see it's rattle canned in the daytime. Where it's delocked and blended in to the rest of the door you can see it as it's more matt and less shiny.
Am thinking of new rear arches and a fresh layer of paint anyway as most of the panels have been replaced/smoothed/touched up somewhere.
ok, cheers chap! Mines quite a thick smooth shiney finish was resprayed a year ago... Will have a look once it warms up and i get the cover ovver from its winter hybination lol.
you need new wings ;)
I'd have some if people didn't suck at meeting up. lol

How much they set you back?
£40 or there abouts.
Nice work
im jealous of them aerocatches :(
Paint around where you've cut to stop the rusty marks that will start to run down your bonnet.
It's got a bit of primer on, but I'll do that if rust starts appearing, thanks.
Stumbled across an early tailgate I forgot I had today, so started prepping it to be painted

Oi! Iain, do us a favour, weigh your bonnet please?, I've a suspicion that it might weigh less than a fibreglass one.
Looking good Iain, love the early tailgate, thinking of getting one myself, without wiper hole and washer hole. Should look good when done :)
B@lls. Ive got some Aerocatchs here ready to fit to mine but TBH Im not so keen on the look once there fitted. They just look to big & outta place :(
agreed, dont like them at allQuote:

Im not keen on conventional bonnet pins either, but Ive got no bonnet catch/lock or cable at all as the intercooler got in the way :(Quote:

Can you get aerocatches in white?
Nope, black only and with red pins only.
just take them apart and spray to colour of your choice ;)
Looking good Iain, still fettling with it then! :) Nice little touches
Cheers everybody.
Just gonna stick a grommet in the wiper and washer holes like my current tailgate, can't be bothered smoothing them out.
Yeah the Aerocatches look a bit 'in your face', unless they're on a black car or carbon fibre bonnet. They shouldn't be hard to paint but I don't mind the look of them though.
Tom I'll weigh the bonnet when I get a chance - would still expect the fibreglass one to be lighter though.
