Cheers Tek, the suspenders are € 5,00 each. I'll get back to you regarding availability. Think he has some more.

Mike,
I'm planning on taking the back bumper off this weekend, will shoot some pics and upload them.
By the way, I'm taking the damn thing off in the near future, allready have a spare GSi bumper without the hole and ordered a new rear part to go on.
If you want you can have it!
Edit: the tow bar that is....

PM sent Jeffrey ;)
I'll have 2 of them also if you can get more?
LOL
I've had that comment a lot from friendly Britons sitting in the passenger seat of the Red Shed! :-)
Nice finds indeed! Mr. Vlietje makes me want to hate him for gathering so many excellent new parts. :thumb:
If you can get another gear gaiter I would be very grateful and willing to cover the costs for buying and sending to the UK for my own silk violet project. Similar OEM specs, but very different model.
Loving this thread, will be watching this.
Small update, fixed some minor issues on the car over the weekend.

That exhaust is very nice!!
Very shiney mate !
Is that bumper not repairable?
You got PM about a part I need ;)
No mate, then I'll need to fix the side, fill the tow bar hole and sort the bracket. Bought a genuine GSi bumper in Donny, Stu picked it up for me!
Pickup this nice box on my way back from Techno Classica in Essen yesterday.
http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/...1/27f5e36b.jpg
In it was a new Valeo radiator
http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/...1/7579e954.jpg
Techno Classica in Essen was great, some good inspiration, seen some stunning cars. There was even a Corsa A on display at the Opel stand.
Niek shot some piccies, hope he'll share them with us asap!
Also ordered new car mats, picked up two samples to check the colour as the company that makes them is only 3km away from my house. Tried the two samples and decided to go for the anthracite one as the grey one was matching the carpet but I think it'll be difficult to keep them clean...

More parts to be picked up on Wednesday as I'm travelling to Germany then.
Cheers!
I've got the same radiator. got it for £27.50 brand new :)
Small update, had a meeting at our German HQ today. Der Post delivered around 10 packages over there, much better then having to pay intl shipping from Germany to the Netherlands.
F*cked up because the left headlamp seems to be damaged, so ordered a new one from OCP (wish I did this originally...).
Will post some new parts piccies tomorrow.
For now I've fitted the new mats front and rear. Mucho better me thinks!

APK (Dutch MOT) is planned for over two weeks.
Need to sort out the new headlamps before that.
Not much really.

Replacing the front seat headrest bracket tomorow, Tuesday is MOT day...
Nice collection of parts there mate , liking the mats aswell :)
Cheers! Mats are really good, best thing about them is the fact that you can configure them yourself: fabric quality, colour, trim colour, heel piece, etc... http://www.automatten.nl/automatten/...8,502,335.html
Mmmm lovely updates and great finds. I remember you telling me you spend about one hour a day on the Bay. More like you spend one hour each day NOT on the Bay by the looks of it! :thumb:
Yep - except I was a little preoccupied with this...
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/f...raamrechts.jpg
and this... (my girlfriend's dad had one back in the day)
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/f...nusTransit.jpg
and this... (my girlfriend would love one of these - with a massive V8!)
http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/f...rcedes220S.jpg
so I forgot to take some pics of the white Nova on display. :wall:
Sorry!
Hmmm... think we have a possible APK (MOT) failure on our hands here.

Good old Mk2 seam sealer hiding the rot :(
Thats not good, will you just put a repair patch in or a new inner wing?
Can't find inner wings at the moment... So best thing to do is the repair it, but the inner wings to front side members also shows signs of rust on both sides...
Sure some welding can sort that out... doesn't look good though :(
Well passed APK (MOT) this morning!! I now have exactly one year to sort out the rust. @ Count Vaux Alot you want to show us your fabrication skills on a LHD any time soon?? :d
Mine passed the APK (MOT) too with a hole like that behind the suspension turret ;)
Good thing Jurgen! And good to see you registered on here!
Friday morning Niek_Nova and myself packed the car for our UK road trip. The Skoda was packed till the roof with panels and small parts.
We had:
1 x Full Nova roof skin
1 x Full Nova Mk2 rear quarter
1 x Nova tail gate
1 x Nova Mk2 LH front wing
1 x Nova MK2 RH front wing
3 x Nova MK1 RH front wing
1 x Cav front wing
1 x Cav rear quarter
1 x Cav rear plate
And some small parts... :eek::eek:
First stop was Clais to board the Eurotunnel at 11:20 CET.
We dropped off parts at Rich, Graeme (who had a very mint Magnex back box for me), Dayle and after arriving at our B&B near Donnie around 22:40PM on Friday night Tahir was waiting for us to pick up his Cav parts. We found out the bar was closed due to a private party and headed back to the room for a good night sleep, two separate beds before you guys ask! lol
Saturday morning 07:30 AM I got a call from Allan and Iain that they had arrived to pick up their parts. After a good chat we went for brekkie and headed to Stu to pick up a GSi bumper and have a closer look at his GSi before it was collected.
All I can say it that the pics don't do justice to Stu's car, what an immaculate example!
Made a very good deal on some (well a lot of) parts that Stu wanted to part with, mostly new parts and OEM, I'm a sucker for that as you know!
We left Stu so he could waive his GSi goodbye in private and headed back down south to catch the return train, unfortunately there wasn't enough time to drop by Joff for a cup of tea and some catching up after more then 10 years. But we'll bring over some Belgium beer for you and catch up at Billing mate!
On our way down we met Martin for whom I picked up a roof skin at OCP. Took the 18:20 train back to the continent and we arrived back at my place at 23:45 PM after exactly 1609km lollollol
http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/...1/67a60f79.jpg
Niek then only had to drive up to Lelystad himself thats an extra 100 miles...
I had a lot of fun and Niek enjoyed himself as my private navigator/assistent/Tesco finder/Marmite king/etc...
I'll update tonight with the parts I got for my project...
Thanks to Stu and Tahir I now have GSi door stickers (I'm awaiting another set from Germany), red bumper tape and a new Mk2 GSi logo:
