Good stuff that epoxy mastic paint is, I used it on the Sport shell. It sets so hard and it will not chip or flake like other hard finishes.
I got the badge from 'yellowsrnova' he's a club member on here from Ireland. He was saying he could possibly get other badges I needed so I got him part numbers and he's going to get back to me.Quote:

Get a paintless dent removal specialist to come and tap the wings back into shape without using any filler mate, usually is not that expensive !
I have had my mate simon who's a paintless dent removal specialist, go over the roof and both rear Quarters so far for free, which is a bonus. I have returned the O/S wing as it was really bad and the N/S is still in my cellar lol.Quote:

Update - I painted some bits let it dry then gave them a second coat but using a different brand and its reacted (badly) its the first time its ever done it to me by using different brands. so had to sand it all down and re-do them.
Decide to use Hammerite - hammered red - its like a textured metallic effect I thinned it down roughly 10% with 2k thinner and sprayed through a gun, its the first time I have used it and am very pleased with the finish.

Also I have been repairing my drivers door because the very first day I got the car I drove it straight down the drive forgetting about the wheelie bin and managed to get it wedged between the car and the house - result - door bent right in. I popped what I could out straight away but it left the door with quite a bad kink in it. I have decided to repair it and sort a better condition door at a later date.

Inside sill is in really really good condition has been waxed from factory with some green coloured wax which is dry not sure if its meant to be but no rust whatsoever! - really lol

I put guide coat on sanded down with P80 the put more guide coat on and finished sanding with P180 cleaned off ready for etch and hi-build primer.

wow, thats looking really good, its also the best and easiest way to do the work on the car with it being on a spit like that, so much better than laying on your back welding and grinding overhead !
