Cheers for the comments everybody, glad everyone is liking it so far
looking good Edd :thumb:
That engine looks sh1t hot in there edd, loving it
Dude looks great.
Engine looks gorgeous, loving it.
What AFM does it run Edd?
TIDY work!
Nice update, and i love the fact you found a "mint carpet with no console holes" then cut it to fit round the cage! love it... lol
And again engine looks spot on, where you thinking of mounting the afm?
looking in there the most easy place would be to the top mount bolt etc, but would look gash, so the other discreet option is under one of the engine mount nuts..
Scott
Si, Irmscher injection uses alot of 18e parts, mk1 astra gte etc, afm is the same.
Scott, did think that lol done a tidy job though, iv made a bracket up to mount the afm, it will use one on the wing bolts, might look a bit strange, but will only be like that until the turbo engine is ready.
Wing bolt is a good idea mate.
Lookin good Edd.
Whats your plans for the exterior you still going for plough, window surrounds, the bigger mirrors and SR rear spoiler?
Exterior plans have changed lol
Sr rear spoiler is on, got a Zender front spoiler to pick up that will go on, small mirrors, and no surrounds, I quickly realised that the surrounds, large mirrors would look out of place.
I have the wheels in my avatar to go on as well.
Sounds good, was nearly going the zender front spoiler route aswell but changed my plans at the last moment.
Your wheel thread has also made me change my mind on my RFX`s lol
Looking good Edd, going to be one trick Sport when it's done :)
I like this. :)Quote:

Dunno hope so lol took ages putting the cage in :(
Looks ok I think I'll see next time I'm working on it
Should go in, whether it open or not is a different matter lol
No, I am sure it will be fine.
Looking good so far, you are doing it justice

What cage is it? I've never had problem with gloveboxs in mk1 or mk2 dashs although did have to remove them to fit the cages at first.
All coming together Edd.;)

Irmsher inlet looks ever so :wisewood:
This car is going to a showstopper once done
Keep up the good work Edd :thumb:
thanks christ we got some pictures eh lol and it looks the bomb matey! the engine looks the sh*t with the injection system on there!!
As always edd, looks awesome!
What's that yellowing near the chassis engine mount?
Trust it just wipes off lol
Any pics or gen how you put the cage 'feet' under the barpet Edd, did you use shallow head bolts and then just trim the carpet over them?
I just used the bolts that came with the cage and trimmed down the underlay so the carpet wouldn't be raised then cut the carpet round the legs.
Matt, cheers and that stuff on the mount is some sort of cavity wax that Rich put on there, think I'll remove it when I clean the bay after it's altogether in there.
Cheers Edd, I completely for got there is underlay under the carpet
Been building up my fuel pump, little unsure of the wiring tho

Pretty sure the red wire goes to the feed from the irmscher injection loom, but not sure about the black ?? Earth ??
yea a pump needs a live feed and an earth :thumb:
Im really starting to like the fact that this Sport is going to be somewhat modified from the normal restore jobs, it will defiantly stand out mate..
Scott
Is there a relay from the injection loom? The +ve should feed from that & obviosly earth out the Black wire somewhere local to the pump.
There is but the feed don't come from there as you would expect, it comes straight from the main plug for the ecu
