actualy i got them neary 70 quid a corner cheaper than i could with the discount as i got a real good discount at rally design because last time i ordered something they cocked it up repeatadly (sp)

now got 3 xe's to fit one in an astra one in a nova and one in a corsa and an x16xe to fit in my nova instead of the gte lump its all systems go i have 3 and a half weeks then i will be cracking in on the 4x4 hard

pics of the conversions will follow just to keep the thread going while im awaiting parts ect

bit of an update on the current goings on
started project tango (my other halfs astra) went last friday to see chrisnovaturbo down in ashford in kent and picked up an xe top blokes and all looks good so we set about cleaning it all and painting it up ready to go in her astra

made a bracket up and moved the coil as im going to be minimising as much wiring ect on show as possable without going mad

so thats that all ready then all i have done is dug a hole in the workshop so that i can get the car in and work on it comftably i have just got so many things going on at once and got so many parts collecting up a work shop that i could have 4 cars in and work on and 4 in storage has cloged up so i can only get one in at the minute comftably
clear out time im thinking when the astra is finished sat

i shall be ripping the eco**** lump out the astra tidying the bay sorting the wiring painting the box and fitting it changing the top mounts ripping the interiour out and getting ready to fit it friday aslong as i dont have to go to work!

car is now up and running spot on had an issue to start with but soon narrowed it down to the fuel pump relay having the wrong one fittted runs very sweet and quiet especialy for an xe only other thing i had to do was change the water temp sender also put some bilstien top mounts on before i put the legs back together as the old ones were nackered

just got to wait for the bmc induction set up to turn up and a few silicone pipes
todays mincing will consist of fitting the leather interior removing door cards to retrim them sorting the hand brake cable rewiring the head unit and a few other little touches
then its on with project suicide corsa but i have got to rebuild the xe for the corsa before it goes in but that should be running by next weekend aswell

bit of a work shop update not a massive amount happened sinse the astra had a sort out of the workshop built a new bench and draged my green nova out to put an engine in it. Put the 4x4 at the back aswell while i get the others sorted 3 weeks and i will be cracking on with the 4x4 again.

yeah i took the engine out of sams corsa tonite (1 hour 25 minutes drive in engine out) x16xe and thats going in the green one over the next few days

green one has now been washed lol the 16 16v lump will find its way in it over the next few days so i will post some pics of it happening then xe going in the corsa the 1.6 came out of then if my mate gets his back side in gear i got another xe to put in his nova then full steam ahead with the 4x4 just in time for total vauxhall to come down for a chat cant wait

if you want the eco out the astra mate come get it it wants a few bits and there was only about 4 studs on the manifold that hadnt snaped but if you want it come get it out my workshop

oh forgot to say i have put all the cav leather in the astra and retrimed the door cards aswell
