Wow awsome stuff Scott! Looks top!
Im stuck on what to do now with the badges, keep the old original ones with the edges slightly worn off (adds character) or source all new??
Have looked and the new one's are not easy to get hold of really.
Scott
looks good mate, progress is the key and alot of its been happening down in the workshop mate :thumb:
That car is going to look the dogs doolies once it is put all back together
good work
Good progress there scott, definitly a good choice not removing the bump strips because when i removed mine off my mk1 they got quite kinked etc and i think they would have been a nightmare to get back on, i hope the missus will drive it carefully!
looks great scott, going to be a cracking motor!
Looking well mate :)

So thats it up to date, i think the next update will be the out side is all mopped and fully fished! well i hope so anyway..
Scott
Speaking of using waxoyl you can get an aerosol type can from the bilt hamber website called dynax S50 i think, it comes with a multidirection nozzle and quite a long tube for putting in chassis legs etc and getting a good all around coverage, i think this is what i'll be using on my mk1!Quote:

Agreed it's very strange, the color will only come out best in on a good sunny day, will have to wait for that eh! lolQuote:

Dont want to lower it too much so you can really see it's lowered, but it needs to sit slightly lower then it is i think, whats everyone's thoughts on that?
Scott
Would look cool with a slight drop mate - Isn't GTE/GSi/SRi springs and shocks slightly uprated and 15mm lower ?
Not sure? I have some SR/SRi spring in shed (least that what i think they are) And some black Billy's to go on, need to get them out and refurbish them all first etc, but thats just more for the plan of this car, it's got lots left to get done yet.. lolQuote:

Yeah I used that at work today on a viva gt, it pumps out quite slowly but at the same time gives you good control over where you want it.Quote:
