Far as i can think the only wire that can be removed is..
Elec headlight adjust.
Revese light switch.

the Brembos are originally from a 2003 Honda Integra DC5 import which ran 300mm discs but these are the same width(25mm) as the 280mm vauxhall discs so should be ideal
also i bought the Brembos in 2004 so have done very little mileage, i originally bought them to upgrade my Civic Type R but it wasn't that simple! so i kept em safe which will hopefully work out tops for my XE
