any updates?
No that I'm aware of, new dash will be ordered today, doing the Aeroquip order for him this week and having one of my swirl pots altered as he wants a -6 feed not -8, once all that arrives there will be a fair bit to get on with.
What a car! Love it!
As we do yours Keith !
Small update, he's been busy making things !

Small update
All the dry sump lines are done, the tanks are back from being powder coated, they were going to be anodised but they couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't react with where the tanks are welded so opted not to do them that way.
Part of the fuel system is in, all located behind the drivers seat.
The Roose hoses showed up as well so he has got all those fitted.

Pure sex!
Every part is just pure quality.
One of best builds on here at the moment.
This & the spaceframe XE are my favourites.

Them black wheels he had on, what make and size are they?
Awesome thread this.
Agree. The standard of prep is awesome. Mant track cars are thrown together with function in mind, but for anyone with OCD that likes going fast on track this ticks all the boxes.
me like a lot.
Cheers for the comments guys, should be finished the other side of Christmas !
As for the wheels I think they are Speedlines iirc, I'll find out the size but believe they were ET49
New brakes arrived today, they are the Harry Hockley Grp A Alcons, should stop it well enough :d
Not much else has been done on the car since before Christmas but he is hoping to have it finished by the end of February.

fack me, serious calipers
One of my favourite builds at the minute :)
Very nice mate - are the wilwoods forsale then?
ooh youll be wanting to paint them first eh?
Cheers guys !
I think the Wilwoods are going on his mates car and no the calipers won't be getting painted lol
The only annoying thing is that the brakes won't fit inside the Grp A wheels he has so looks like they will be going up for sale.
Any idea how much camber/caster he was running when the top mounts are at this position?

The main adjustment is made with the adjustable tca's and tie bars, I have no idea what the geomerty is set to though sorry.
this is epic makes me dribble badly
has he finished the rocker cover yet ???
Just read this from page 1, the parts used, the parts made, the parts bought are all mega top quality, and the way the it's all brought together is astounding to me,
hope to see the finished car soon.
Not yet but hopefully it will be done soon !Quote:

that rocker will look lovely wouldnt mind 1 myself lol
Well I'd imagine another could be done but judging on the time this was is taking I can only hope you wouldn't be in a hurry for it LOL
Bells and brackets are back from being anodised blue.
No other updates until next week though.
Excellent build with all the right bits.
Made a similar cover for my c16xe, also made one for brosters :)

I like that, have you welded that then smoothed off the welds ?
Thats basically what he is doing with the current one until the billet one is finished.
I'll show him that pic though, Cheers :)
Very nice ste

just a idea but you could cut the two posts down a touch so you could a make plug cover.so that the cover would sit flush
