Swedge - the difference between having 0 years and 2 years NCB could be hundreds of pounds.. do yourself a favour and leave a policy running for a full year and then see how much your insurance drops.
I looked at a 1.6 conversion when I started driving as I thought it was fairly tame, but flux didn't lol the difference in that between 0ncb and 1ncb (when I took it out the next year) was ITRO £2600 lolQuote:

I've read this again.Quote:

If the company who are/were insured with are saying otherwise then I would get on the phone to them straight away and sort it out. You could potentially save yourself a lot of money
cheers for the info Olli, ****ing stupid people doing dodgy insurance scams really mess's things up for other Genuine people.
lol no i wouldnt and never have driven without insurance and never willQuote:

Mike, as you are on our system already, PM me your full details and I'll do a rough check on the RS. That price sounds good so I want to check before you make the call.Quote:

Age:
Limitations of the scheme imposed by Sky Insurance are that all policy holders must be at least 19 years of age and have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years. For comprehensive insurance we need you to be over 21. We will be more competitive for the older drivers with a good driving record rather than a 20 year old with 0 NCB looking for comprehensive cover.
First post and the 2nd section. Read ffs
re -edit
If you have ever been with flux, youll know what I mean when I say 'customer service', it appears as though SKY shares this wondeful customer service sheme with them, useless, utter bollocks.
Well, just signed up with Sky with my daily vectra with full business use and I'm very happy with the price. My coilovers are now covered to which is piece of mind and I can now drive others cars 3rd party again which is also usefull in emergencies.
Hopefully no problems ahead.
Paul, I cannot look into this unless you PM me back. If you do not reply to my PM I can only assume this is a non-issue?Quote:

The guy said what was the power output of the car so i told him, he then asked what my current car was which is a 1.4 8v corsa. He then said without previous experience with a car of such high horsepower (200+) then none of the insurers would quote me. So i then mentioned that i have had previous experience with my old Nova with a 20LET with the same power through adrian flux etc. Apprarantly because that was over a year ago i wouldnt qualify for insurance as it was too long ago? At this point i had lost my cool so promptly hung up. What a complete joke and a waste of 45 minutes.
You were wasting your own time aswell due to not beening a member of the PNG you wouldnt get the discount.Quote:

Unfortunately, due to your postcode we were unable to help you as you live in an area which is excluded from our car club scheme. Because of this my colleague transferred you to a completely seperate company who should have been able to help you.
Apologies this was not explained to you very well, thank you for trying and apologies again that we were unable to help you.
