iam never leaving my car with the mot poeple i wait and wach them
A member of staff blatantly went for a drive in it imo and I would simple phone the police, then a solicitor for free advice.
It's easy after such an event to realise not to leave something special alone at such a place.
so sorry to hear of the mess of what the garage have done ,seek legal advice & get vosa involved ,thel get strung up
Sorry to hear this mate, Its a shame when people take the pi*s like that and then to rub salt into the wound by threatening you too! Could you not go tell the story to the local papers? like someone said before the best way to hit them is to take down their reputation! sure word will spread fast. whereabouts is this shady garage?
sad times :( , so sorry for you mate. As said by the others get vosa involved, they wont like being involved with a cowboy outfit like this sounds.
The outcome of this one could be interesting with car still being a 1.3 on the logbook! Think there could be an arguement there as the car shouldn't have been on the road in the first place.
/\ that will be the owners problem and will only have to pay a fine or if he's lucky the differance in tax
Gutted for you mate! Find out what he hit and get straight onto the phone to the police and VOSA, I know 4x4 vehicles can go off site to have the breaks tested because you cant do some of them on the rollers, totally out of order mate!
sorry to hear about this, i have registered just to give you some advise, this is taken from the MOT managers guide, (the administration manual the MOT station have to follow)
generally, they are liable for the loss, print this page off, and take it to the garage highlight 1(a), if he still tells you where to go, then go to VOSA, his local office number, and testing station number will be on the MOT notice board that HAS to be pubically available, take a pen, and paper, anyway, the info
