strangest engine fitted to a nova?

I'm willing to stick my neck out and say it's Escort Cos running gear (adapted to fit) and a Sierra donated the floor pan. I'm probably wrong though. lol

wasn't there a sknony looking mk2 with a honda engine in?

years ago i saw a rally preped nova for sale in motoring news (thats what it was called before it became motorsport news) with a suzuki hyabusa (sp) 1300 engine in it:wtf:

I'd say the oddest engines to find in a Nova would be either due to it having next to no power ie a 1.0 12v, a crazy daft large engine like V10 or straight 6 (LC's 36GET) or similar powerplant to something that is already offered by GM, ie this Cosworth V6 from a Scorpio.

The other strange conversion I can think of would be a Chevette or mk2 Astra 1200 OHV engine, basically a bored & stroked 1L pushrod lump.

im sooooooooooo glad my dad cant see this lol he's wanted to do a v6 ford engine into a nova for years, WITH MY FOOKIN NOVA!!!

3.0 12v straight six from a senator, and a R1 engine. but the last one was never finished. was more a low budget fun thing.

not a nova but thought you'd all like this :)

darrens chevette raly car with honda s2000 engine. think he said it was tad over 250bhp :p
