@ Mark: Very strange, Diamond was not available in '85
@Nova_Tek: 87L is the colour code, but I'm not sure if it's black or silver, can you please tell me?
For F-1, I have no clue at all

The colour is E421 (on the VIN plate) which is a Metalic Gold (Weiss Gold)
I wonder what the f-1 means. Formula 1 maybe??? lol
This is what was on mine.

I tried to get a pic but the camera wouldn't pick it up.
SR = RHD
79L = Karneol red or Magma red
CD1 = Without rear wiper
L77 = Sure about it? as it doesn't exist
T89 = Sure about it? as it doesn't exist, is it not T39? for side turn signal on wings
B81 = Moulding, body side, delete
XN8 = For England
XQZ = Should be XQ2 = For Vauxhall
W8X = Additional parts, radio installation
T5X = Emission, 3 way catalytic converter
For the 3, 48 and 1B, I have no idea :(
Diamond code could of ben used for something else once upon a time?
I will double check it, but when I got it, it had a rear wiper, its a 'Spin' model.Quote:
