lol thats why i put down to your spec my 206 gti had a longlife fitted by previous owner and was insanely loud.

Stick with the current theme and track down an irmscher jobbie, would finish the car nice

I was thinking about the Irmscher exhaust but its only a back box and retails at a ridiculous price of £500 !! See here - Irmscher exhaust

However it does look nice (but not £500 nice) .....

There is very little off the shelf stuff exhaust wise for the Meriva - the only other exhaust I could find was from LMF - LMF exhaust - but again pricey at £272 JUST for the backbox.

I will try and get a bespoke one made which is as quiet as the OE stuff but has two small square-ish tailpipes I think.

Got on with changing the thermostat - glad I did as the aluminium was disintergrating inside the top hose......

Whipped the old battery out which revealed a rather rusty battery tray....

I thought the rear clusters looked a bit bright so got the masking tape out and the tinting spray .....
