Finished the B pillar trims. Left the movable bit just painted as its so tight in there now with just the front covered it doesn't hardly move.

Mucho better
Looking tidy in there Benn. Re-trimming is well worth it especially when the inside looks mint. Can't wait for my cream leather headlining :d
looks well mate!! i like it ll black inside looks differant!!
Cheers Tek, and cream leather? very posh.
Dj, i like the matching too.
Looks really nice benn fair play
do you have to sand the trims at all before you paint them
I'm thinking of doin mine but have no idea what to use
Looks really smart that fella
The little things like re-trimming interior parts really makes it that much better!
You've got the bonus of making the car look safer with a darker interior rather than grey lol.
Top stuff :) What's next ha!

just like the green scouring pads your missus will use to do the dishes
get them from motorfactors etc
Sorry yes as above, its a pad you use to key paint work.
Just seen your RR feature, made nice power:)
And you cant take this piss out of the way I look, Im ugly, But you old and ugly lollollollollollollollollollollollollollol
Power was ok, but lbs was way down which i wasn't happy with.
Ain't that old only 28, i just dont sleep much so look rough.
what was the figures benn?
209 brake, 170ish lbs. Down on torque..
But the boost wasn't set as high as it should have been, which didn't help.
Was talking to Keith about getting on with my doors after work, he said yes we can crack on this week.. :)
Pull the doors out and hold the handles.. Went over at lunch time, then again after work and the handles had been all welded in and where just about to get a skim of filler... Shocked big time. I thought i'd be doing most of it like normal but Paul the new guy dived in.
He's a very good panel beater and joiner and love doing this kinda thing. Having talked the day before he knew how i wanted them and having fitted some to a Saxo not so long ago he knew just how to do it..

This one (red) was the one that had been very very very badly welded in to a rusty sh*t door) The plate was cut down and hammered in to a better shape.

Paul.. Hasn't got the hang of me taking pics of everything yet...
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...orhandles9.jpg
Keith has tho..lol

One of the best bits is that the Audi handle works just like the Nova, so the bar that moves the lock from the handle just needed lightly bending and it works perfect.
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...orhandles6.jpg
Now i wanted to be sure the doors where rust free, so i've bared the bottoms off, finding a small dent. But no rust of anything.

All ready for primer tomoz.

What they off?
Audi.
Will be interesting to see how it all looks when thedoors are all painted.
As said new style Audi's have them. They are like 90% flush...
awsome there guna look real nice.
looking good
When do you hope to get them fitted ?
For it to match will the wings are rear quarters need painting aswell ?
Cheers Tommy,
Cheers W88.
Edd, Hopefully painted by the weekend so fitting next weekend i'd hope. The rear quarter where painted this time last year, but there wont be a colour/fade difference. Paint/colour wont fade that fast unless really badly looked after. Which mine isn't,
So we're all good...
Plus having a good few layers of clearcoat helps the paint from fading.
It should yes.
