Very true, need to go pass through some ghetto areas and pop into a pound shop see if I can grab some bargains.
Should have some updates soon but work is beginning to really get in the way of the project
Is that a wedge on the throttle butterfly?, Is that just a LET thing? Seems a bit gay!
Dizzy XE's have the wedge as well, the dispack ones don't for some reason.
Wonder what the reason for the wedge is but I found it a bit unusual. Also didn't realise there was two flaps, one small and one large. The little one opens first then the larger one at a given throttle position.
cool project this should be smart when its done :thumb: but i hope your tools are spotless or them painted nuts and bolts are going to get dirty lol
You can replace the wedge''d one with one from the later dispack the wedge apparently reduces mid range drivabilty but improves with it removed.Quote:

Nice progress buy the way tek did you manage to sort the c.vs for the shafts i sold you?
Sounds interesting, I may do that mod but would like to see how it drives before I consider it.
As for the CV's... NO :(
Had a few people say that they can get me a pair for a great price from their factors blah blah etc but unfortunately they've all been dead ends.
Tek P.M david dixon i saw a post earlier offering some 22 spline inner conversion C.V to somebody in parts wanted may worth a try?Quote:
