I preffer to use the "I had one of these for my first car" approach.

Theyre not daft! One click brings you to ebay etc.
I had given up,and then my phone rang about 7/8 months later.
Went round and bought it,he was gonna get £200 for it traded in against a new megane LOL (back in 06)

Expressing your desire for the car is surely going to get them asking the question "whats it really worth then"?

To some people its just a car, so i just find its a safer bet to play a sentimental card like, "My mum used to take us to school in one just like this". lol

This for me.

Even so, 'valuable'probably means no more than a few hundred quid, as you usually have only the weigh bridge or trade-in price to better, when they do decide to sell.

That's my mobile tool kit yes. I got it swapped onto the top to make life easier, but battery ran out so couldn't take a picture of how I left it.

There's also a Silk Violet Luxe+ just a few cars away from that one.

Bet that's the calypso GTE that was ebay a couple of months ago for a stupid price needing restoration.
