Clips are in, new as well
Don't mk1 bumpers have a little bit that kinda flicks up and goes under the HL? That should sort the gap out..
Ahh yeah I did forget that bit on the bumper  maybe I should of waited till I put the bumper on before thinking it looked crap
Polished wheels now up forsale
Going to get the Cav Expressions on now
Edd......... Are you selling the polished wheels because they wont fit without rolled arches or is their another issue with fitment? If its down to the arch issue Id say you were crazy!! The wheels would probably be the only set you'll ever see around on a nova so totally exclusive and as I seem to remember you needing one arch painting due to a scrape and it wouldnt take much more to have the other side done after both have been rolled. Done properly their wouldnt even be any need for filler and If you got in touch with Ade culley he could tell you what paint was used so a perfect match could be achieved also. At the end of the day its just my opinion and I dont know the ins and outs but you obviously really wanted them wheels on the car so Id just sort the arches to suit. You'll be gutted if you sell and see them on another nova a little down the line!Quote:

I'm still a little unsure that I want to be rolling mint arches rear arches tho
The fronts is the problem really, if the fronts were rolled they would clear no doubt, just didn't want to ruin a set of genuine wings
I may speak to my bodywork guy to see what he says
Is rolling arches a job for someone in the trade?
I will be gutted if I see them on another Nova your right Nick
Is there any way of getting hold of Ade Culley ? As my painter mate already wants to know what paint was used
id role them too edd if its done right it wont ruin the wings and would be unique when done

If arches are sealed up properly they will last for years especially if your only ever going to use it in good weather? I would say as Ade worked for a vw/audi dealer at the time he painted that shell they will have been using a quality paint system such as Glasurit or ICI which is exactly what we use at work but with a bmw label. Im sure Rich could give you some info and a number for him or If not Im sure I know someone who will have it and can pass it on. What you need to know is the paint manufacturer, Whether he used solid colour or base and clear and what shade he used which I presume will be standard. Get them sorted, stick on a stock rear beam and away you go! Any help you need I can gladly advise just drop me a pm anytime.
Nick.
As Nick said, as long as they are rolled proplely you wont have a prob.
Thanks for the advice guys, I'll speak to my friend Matt who has his own bodywork business I'm sure he'll be able to roll them, he's been in the trade 20+ years and has painted a few of my cars and has done my Zender bumper and will be doing the arch scrape
I'll ask Rich for some more details on the paint that was used
The arches on the rear look so factory tho lol shame to roll them lol
The fronts deffo need doing, but I might see if anything can be done to give just a few mill on the rear with a standard beam in
