Had a better look today as it wasnt raining, the paint on the edge of the doorframe has cracked slightly where its bent. Chrome gutter strip is also bent in a few places where theyve levered against it.
They also tried levering the boot window out as you can see a slight dent in the boot where they've forced a screwdriver under the edge of the window seal.
FFS how retarded are they its a nova and they cant break into it lol ,was it parked in the garden where it normally is aswell , would never had got it out lol
gutted for you ad , ****ers they are
FFS. Sorry to hear mate. :(

Gutted for you ad! was it behind the fence? doesn't your old man usually block it in with his car?
Yes mate, it was behind two sets of locked gates with one of my dads cars in front of it, and his corsa behind it.
It could go no where........
They didnt touch any other car
I sometimes wonder if they just 'break in' to prove a point as in we could take it if we wanted or maybe to practice? Retards either way.
On occasion I find my passenger door on the Volvo open, I put this down to whoever not locking it (no CL) but my walkie talkies are no longer in the glovebox. So who knows! If you can get a camera up and hidden out of the way I would mate. Or at least a motion detecting floodlight.
Maybe they wanted the brown dash for a sport resto? lol Or sit in it and make racecar noises
Retards!
All set for Combe now.
It has oil, it has coolant, that'll do me
Also packed my tool kit (10/13mil spanner and cable ties) lol
Cya there :d
Sweeeet. See ya there dude.

Well, car survived Combe. Had a slight issue with oil leaking from the sump, but no damage done so i'll just change the gasket when i CBA.
Few pics/vids from the day, cheers to Benn for the pics

And if anyone fancies donating a lsd, PM me lol lol
Overall, well pleased with how it went, so much better than my old one on track, but no big suprise really.
looks right at home there on the track fella, :thumb:
Next time i want to see yours on there :thumb:
it's getting there slowly, but surely
Nice to see you Adam and glad it got home ok.
Likewise :)
I was half expecting to see the pressure light come on at any time on the way home lol lol
lol mines leaking AGAIN! but this time from ware the cooler pipe goes from rubber to metal just below the bottom pulley! Grrr..
lol lol lol
Tell you if it wernt for the fact i get fun out of it while it's not leaking/broken i would brake it for parts! lol
Bloody novas lol.
This seemed to be flying while I was in the queue with Scott waiting to go on, in fact I'm pretty sure Scotts exact words were "Ad's flying" lol
On my 2nd session i didnt get passed by anyone iirc (apart from my trip across the grass lol )
I was quite suprised how well it seems to go for a pretty much standard XE.
Big blocks rock dude.Quote:

Also picked up a full SS Magnex from my local parts dealer (John H lol )
3 box system so should be quieter.
Fits a mk1 bumper too!

Still got to love the quality of magnex systems!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...w/Photo111.jpg
Test fitted it, all is good but one problem is its too long for the SBD exhaust manifold(i.e. it ends past the end of the manifold, if you get me)
So i either have got to cut a lot off the manifold, or cut the system! I really dont want mod the system if i can get away with it, so might need hack the manifold.
CBA do either so will probably stick my old system back on, drive to a exhaust place and just leave them to fit it it to the end of the manifold.
Also, fitted Bi Xenon hid's to the astra
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...w/Photo107.jpg
Which has recently developed a huge gearbox leak (huge as in box oil is running down the bottom suspension arm, dripping into the wheel and running out of the outside of the rim  )
Which yet again i have no time & cba fixing....
Tempted just look for another daily tbh! Something newer and more modern.
my magnex does the opposite, piper exhaust manifold is too short..Quote:

As you can just make up a piece to join the two.
Whereas i may have to get both the manifold and system modded to fit together :(
As i dont think ive got enough pipe left on the manifold to cut it short enough for it to sort of line up with the system
Adam shorten the system in the middle section, or as said have a firm do it for you.
Scott
Powerflow will **** it up for lots of money :)
I was actually thinking of going to a local powerflow lol
Surely they cant f**k up a pipe thats going be about 4inches long lol lol
Scott-Ideally i dont want to touch the system, if i have to do that it will obviously be useless to anyone else when i inevitably break the car and sell everything on .........
lol yeah they should be ok. My mate had a powerflow system and it was good just depends where you go/who does it.
Better off modding the mamifold, when you sell it on will be a + point if it mates up to a standard nova system
What is the manifold you run? The astra gte one is shorter by quite a bit...
I understand what you are saying about breaking the car down the line and not ruining the system but surely the manifold is worth more than the system???
Been a while since i had a catch up with this. Car is looking sweet, alot of work gone into it.
what a thread mate loved reading and watching the progress step by step :)
loved it .. when u starting another project haha
Benn, its a SBD Type A.
Simps, the manifold was cut when i got hold of it so id prefer modding that further.
Altho if i do mod the system too i can always sell the manifold and system on as a pair.....
Cheers lads :)
Done nothing on the car today, hate see it sitting around un-used,rusting away!!!!
Must resist temptation to break and buy Jap! lol
