Also bleeding using the method I've just described will show you if it is your master cylinder that is fooked. As you will be unable to generate any pressure via the pedal.

About to have roast tea, so will investigate later.
So build up pressure with the pedal & then undo the blled nipple & expect a spurt of fluid?
Yep.
Hold the pressure with the pedal, and crack open the bleed nipple
Exactly. Make sure your assistant holds the bleed pipe onto the nipple as they undo it, otherwise they may get wet lol But there's no need to be scared!Quote:

I just went out after tea to look at the brakes again, I appear to have no electrics at all, no interior light, hazards or ignition (lights on clocks) though I can still start the engine.
Anyone want it?
You'll get there Craig, i wish i had the fecking time to finish mine!! I admire you determination i really do!
You sound like me lol IIRC my car has been for sale 36 times this week alone.
Your electrical problem sound like its the main feed off the battery come loose to lose all of that. Iirc theres an 8 AWG coming of the positive which runs into the car on the passanger side and then splits down into about 6 smaller ones half way across the dash (passanger side of the heater on mine)
