matt, you need an engine loom off a mk3 fiesta carb, the early ones were carbed but used edis. you just use the engine loom and sensors etc, with a ford specific trigger wheel disk welded to the front crank pulley where your belts go, which can be got off ebay. that gives you the spark. then just carbs for fuel.
rob, i was gonna mega jolt it. using the EDIS etc
and i think the fiesta i robbed it off was a carb version, but i cut the loom etc :( there is a pic a couple of pages back where i got the EDIS unit etc
rob, that link is for dizzy, very little people can use a dizzy on a redtop in a chevette, unless they use the rare manta setup.

and jonlem, for an XE setup with a MAP sensor, you can get a complete setup for 280 all made etc, ready to plug in
im yet to buy it, buy they stock them on the shelves
