Dans 'widearch' project (2016 updates)

not much of an update as such, just thought i would record the fact that i have spoken to compomotive regarding a second set of wheels just for wet weather tyres. Obviously the current ones i have are rarer than rare, but they offered to make me a set of MO's in silver, which if fine as they are only to serve a purpose

They are pouring them into the moulds this week and i have been promised delivery before my trackday at the end of the month, although it may be tight and i might have to get the wets fitted the day before :thumb: (sure it wont come to that)

Just a thought, but if you want/need them ricky tick, I live minutes from Compomotive, collect & give to Lee at PV for you if its any help?

that would be cool, apart from the fact they are being made full stop, if they were blanks off of a shelf then the time frame would be less. I dont know the time scale to pour a set from fresh but the window was 3weeks delivered which i presume allows for other orders being done/fitting mine in and a grace period to allow for cock ups ??

Just sods law they have no blanks on the shelf, which is a pain tbh as i hate waiting to long with a deadline looming. I suppose thats part and parcel of having such an awkward spec wheel lol

225/45/15 or 220/580/15. A dunlop full wet cut slick rolls in at 125 notes new which is on my list at the moment as obviously i have a large surface area for such a light car in wet conditions. unsure on the 888's work rate in comparison.

And me, awkward, never lol lol
