Watching my son Nicholas unwrap his 9th birthday present and my daughter Keira unwrap her 4th birthday present. Same birthdays 5 years apart. How did that happen?
Took them bowling tonight and they loved it.

My oven and hob are fixed ;)
640 quid up, van fund isn't looking to bad now
12 mile hike, no aches, and the dog is sound asleep
massive home-made steak & mushroom (i made it) with a bottle of brown ale in the gravy.....
350 miles later and i have a front bumper/grille/boot spoiler to finish off my GTE Kit. and on the way there i saw a lotus carlton for the first time in the flesh, happy days!!
tj, how are you cooking fillet to make it boring?? to me, fillet is a once or twice a year treat. when i cook it, its so rare that a decent vet with some sun-cream could get it mooing again
(Steak geek) t bone is actually fillet and sirloin combined. If you want flavour go for rump. But as mowgli says fillet is so tender you can get away with cooking it less.
Rib eye is the real king though. :)
fillet is just over rated and extremely over priced, i will admit it is the most tender of cuts, but its not the best flavor as there is never any fat on it lol
fillet pork is nice slightly under cooked, i normally have all my steaks cooked blue when i do them at home
EDIT.... hobbit you just got some very confusing plus rep lol
hobbit i thought t bone was 3 different cuts?
Might have been bit of rump?
Rib of beef (proper ribeye with bone) on the BBQ for about 5 seconds... Done.
i was in morisons and they had a massive roasting rib of beef for sale was 40 quid, i going to get one when i go back and cut it into massive steak portions and freeze them
best bit of it is my bird hates red meat so it will be all mine lol
Costco is good for Beef but it comes in huge pieces. Morrisons Beef is excellent, the best of all the supermarket meat. I occasionally have a fillet steak from there, always good.
Got the mortgage offer through. Time to join the grown up world finally after resisting for the last 13 years. Hopefully be in by the end of next month if no hitches as vacant possession.

M&S is far better for cuts of beef then any high street supermarket!
Lol at all of you and getting steak from supermarkets, proper butchers are where its at, best one we have found so far is Landers in Whitby, their steaks are to die for :d
we are the same, i also like meat.
Bought two items off the same seller on ebay,he then sent me a message to say the postage had worked out a fiver cheaper than he quoted & he has refunded the difference.good to see there are still some decent people out there :)

Went and viewed the progress on my new competition car. God it is the bollocks!! From the early 80's and equally as cool as a nova. Watch this space as I will post pics when it's finished.
