pie, i had to co drive an 807 to ben nevis, scafell pike etc & back in a 24hr period in june for the 3 peaks challenge thing... it was hateful
a friends wedding the same weekend as PVS show grrrrrr not good
ash gsi, are they good friends, or not???
Glad it wasn't just me thinking that. I've seen bonnets covered with snow from the screen so high people cant see over it...
I cleaned all my windows, drove to work and then using a brush got all the snow off my van... So it wouldn't melt and slide/fall off the road and so i could see the bonnet.
The shocking driving i've seen today pissed me off.
the idiot on ebay who listed a stainless steel exhaust for a nova, which i bid on, and then contacted me to tell me he was cancelling the sale cos the bids weren't high enough, and if i wanted to give him £70 for it, i could buy it....
the bid was at £1.05 at the time...
of course i reported him
Good^
i would have done the same tbh, i wouldnt be losing out on money becuase of ebay rules :tard:
/\ so if he wanted £70, he should have listed it correctly with a BIN of £70, or a higher starting price....
cost more to put the add up with a bin price or a reserve
That's why selling on here is a better idea lol
Selling on here is bab IMO, if I want rid it goes on ebay.
The price of tyres... I miss my "nearly new tyre" man in Manchester. He always hooked me up with epic tyres for dirt cheap! :(
That reminds me I need 2 tyres for my van
£80 a corner for the Golf :(
did this man in manchester bring them round ready warmed??
Totally agree, if I won't take less then 70 quid I just list for 70 quid. Don't get why people mess about with listings to save a couple of quid.
Ouch, i paid 190 for a set of oz's with brand new michelin pilots. You need to get yourself a nova :d
asked for a clutch cable for the nova in gsf and got a look like i asked for a teapot with a cabbage in it, it is a motor factors why is it looked at like ive asked them a stupid question!
then i asked for some 8mm fuel hose she went off and come back and some how they only stock 5 and 10mm, im not using them anymore usless shop
people driving 20mph in jeeps on clear gritted fuking roads!!! fuking hell like lol
They probably thought "retards in **** old "fast" cars sat behind on clear gritted roads too scared to overtake" lmao
Remember the speed limit aint a target to reach.
I for one dont speed when its cold wether its clear gritted or not.i mostly have my kids in the car with me.
/\ andy, on our local a roads, the wagons are doing 35-40 & the 4x4's(well the one with me in) are doing 40-50mph. when its clear.. i don't like passing people if it looks hazardous, but last evening, i was on the bypass & having followed a fiat500 for 1 mile at no more than 10mph, on a clear road, i simply had to pass him, and all the cars behind me did too.
Tyres is what wins a race.... Equally appropriate for the road, winters are ace but don't have them on our cars.
I've take our 500 out on the snow and frankly it needs to stay on the drive, pzero neros rent the best in the cold lmao.
Working has pissed me off today as I missed out on the bronze tinted glass for sale on here.... Massively gutted
^ I guessed it was you he sold to? His up nearer you. Someone got in there before me aswell!
Finding out the the track day on Weds has been cancelled due to the snow.
hmrc
how long must i hold for seriously, fukking mongs 33mins and still going
DFS, have pissed me off today shower of useless ankers, ordered a sofa on 31/10 said my moving in day was 7/1 that leaves them 7 weeks to make and supply, it's still not arrived! Phoned today now they are saying Feb the first! Three fecking months? Come on, tried to cancel the order and get out of the credit agreement, was sarcastically advised im well outside my 14 day cooling off period. :(
Avoid of your in the market for a new sofa :(
Heard numerous horror stories about them so we avoided them. We used a local furniture company that has been going for years and years.
We bought the best we could get the mother in law to afford lol went to town a bit and got a top of the range leather 2 seater and 3 seater. Well worth the extra. Arrived when they said it would, delivered free, manouvered into the newly decorated lounge without incident and assembled.
Missus potentially wrote the Civic off on our street last night but the insurance can't collect it for another couple of days due to the snow. Hate our street when it snows.
