Am I missing something, the tank is in the boot, the pump is the front, I know thats why I had a issue which was just on occasions it wouldn't be able to pull the fuel up, I can see this having he same issue at times thats all.

As for the remote resevoirs that was exactly my thought, I am sure you could tap it and fit something out of the way allowing you to run some nice trumpets and filters. The Rampipe btw has more effect on torque which is why I would look into moving the resevoir and fitting some 50mm trumpets.

i have seen many a cars with pumps in the engine bay. alot of my research had pumps in the bay.

and its gravity fed. if i have problems i will move it :)

Lift pumps or high pressure pumps already fed by a lift pump ?

To be fair I believe I had seen something similar which was why I did it that way and it did work, just occasionally you would be mid corner and it would cut out and you would need to pressurise the tank to get the pump to pick the fuel up, this was over 10 years ago though so you live and learn !

im not sure if it was a lift pump or a high pressure pump, but this will be a road car. so it wont be put through its paces all of the time lol.

if i have issues i will change it :)

martin, id be looking at one of these, they have a habit of skipping sideways and stressing the std bracket.
