lol ...... If I came second to your motor fella it would be an honour anyhow! It would be nice If my new motor was deemed good enough to represent a stand this year and we had chance to go at it again. ;)Quote:

Dropped the front back down on sat, but now the rears abit high so will change that in the week.
Also adjusted my boost up quite alot on sat. As i noticed after the RR day that its wasn't holding boost that high. Thanks to Dan for the fun we had hooning then stopping and adjusting it then more hooning then stop and adjust again. Hold holding under over 10psi and over boosting to about 12 ish.
Looking grand benn, where's the bonnet bra gone?
Ah 10mm spanner and not getting burnt at the side of the road fun! Brings back memories.
Yep, many a late night with the 10mm spanner playing with boost :d
Looking very smooth Benn.
Cheers Si :)Quote:

Did all my seats on sat too, smells so lush in there now...
And yep you know it.. Warms the spanners up nice..
Thank you very much Shaun.
Did you repaint your rims? thought they were mirror polished.
Car looks good benn, the colour looks a little darker than other photos ive seen.
Tek-hes got 2 sets.
Summer wheels are polished. :thumb:Quote:

Benn, ever considered removing your side repeaters? Would really suit the car imo
I'd love to own your car Benn...
1 of my all time favourite novas!
Its wasn't that sunny, so i've adjusted the pics, might be making them look a lil darker than it should.Quote:

No, i wanted to keep them for ease, and the flushed in ones make it all the more trick.Quote:

Yeah ease, no messing about come Mot time.
If you look inline with them you can only see a few mm sticking out the top of them..
It passes the MOT rules fine, mine was not even mentioned and a lot of other things were.Quote:

Different tester, different rules. I've had mine failed on the bulbs being to red (pre recessing)Quote:

I have to say, this is an AWESOME ride. Really like the understated appearance. Keep noticing different things each time I look.
one of the best novas on the scene today :) in my top 5 for sure
Simps had to stick ones on to pass his...Quote:

Love dont HATE
That's what i mean, just need to know if the rubber needs bonding on.
And no it dont. I will hate.
tbh no, imo they look a little OTT/blingy, whereas the silver ones give it more of classy touch...but each to their own :pQuote:

Did a few bits over a nice long relaxing weekend..
This is where the rear was sitting.. Wound it up ages ago..

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...n/IMG_8877.jpg
Bit of a twist and its now..
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...n/IMG_8884.jpg
I might ordered some shorter springs, not really to lower it more. But to raise the platforms to give the shock pistons more room to move..
Rolled it out side..
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...n/IMG_8886.jpg
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...n/IMG_8885.jpg
Sitting abit lower now its moved and settled, the rim lip is now inline with the arch lip.. Which is about right..
When i mounted my battery in the boot it was strapped down, but one wasn't enough as it could slowly sliding to the left so.
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...n/IMG_8881.jpg
Dont move now, now the straps are screwed down, but the screw heads where rubbing on the bottom of the battery, which isn't good. So i made a little seat.
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...n/IMG_8882.jpg
Wiped my back box off too, still comes up good
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...n/IMG_8879.jpg
Beam and disk shields good a good clean up and paint tho,
Nice ride height Benn. It's sitting well :thumb:
the height looks nice benn
Its move level now with the front a bit lower so i'm more happy now.
Dude, is your rear suspension setup the ONLY rust on your car?
Not rust on the coilovers, just the beam and disk cover things are a bit sh*tty.
Should of had it powered coated when i first built it... Remember kids don't rush your rebuilds.
looks good mate beter lower though lol i like the wheels but i dont know what look best the polished one's do look good!!
you took you back box of to clean it ?
wtf lol
Cheers Wudgey.
Browney, no, i did it on the car, just needed a wiper over :)
