Cold and snow.

Bbc just forecasting for most of the country mate!
oh good, there's still a chance i might be able to phone work and say i cant get there due to snow this weekend then lol
Great.more money lost then
Went for an eye test and hearing test for a new job today and they wanted part of the eyetest to be unaided even though I wear lenses all the time as im blind!
soooo..had to get Jack to drive me there as they wanted lenses out for a while before the test, then the woman acted surprised when I couldnt see anything in the dam test...THATS BECAUSE IM NOT WEARING MY LENSES!!
Then to top it all off, I was allowed to wear my lenses for the last bit of the eye test but the stupid woman wouldnt give my eyes a couple of mins to get settled down so they were quite watery and a bit blury still and I still struggled
Bloody pointless test!
I hope you gave her an uppercut to the vag
so my piss-offage today was a bloke in a village called Clowne, just off J30 of the M1...
he offered me directions back to the motorway after i'd delivered his bricks..
he said.....
' turn raaaht, raaaht.... then left, raaaht... then raaaht, raaaaht.... then raaaht at the end tha goerz left, raaaht....'
then he repeated it.....
i thanked him & found my own way back to the motorway
tj, the roads had ice on them & he was honestly trying to help..... if he'd stopped chewing the brick whilst he was talking, i might have understood him
Well it was supposed to be an official occupational health place for the Police..even though the eye test maching was from the 60's and kept breaking.
I did keep asking why they were asking for an unaided eye test when I never go anywhere without my lenses in as my eyesight is so bad but she didnt really answer me.
I did manage to pass after much squinting and possible guessing so alls well that ends well I suppose
Well im broken down on the A59 just outside of york. Now waiting for a lift home and we`ll have to come get the car tomorrow.Borrowed mums mk3 astra estate to go have a look at a combo van in newcastle.Guy says its mint with no rust.Get there and its falling apart.Gets to metro centre and battery light came on so pulled into the services and the alternator pulley is actually hanging off.So got as far as fast as i could down the a1 til my lights dimmed too much.
Alternator was reconned 3 weeks ago so thats going back.
Oh and its bloody cold.
didn't you tighten the pulley up??
Its not the nut on the pulley thats loose, its actually come apart inside.Im guessing its got bearings inside that have shat themselves.
ah.
i use to laugh and beep when driving past people broken down on the motorway, then i had a fiesta and the engine went pop i was waiting on the m1 for 4-to-5 hours till i finally got someone out to help me, never again will i laugh at some poor sod broken down
^^^^ karma is a bitch!!!
Bristol drivers, I knew they sucked but didn't think they sucked that bad. Yes because on icy/snowy roads I'd love you to drive 2' off my rear bumper mr snow-covered family wagon peugeot.
And thats another thing, why is it in the entire city I seem to be the only one who has cleared their car of snow rather than just swept a couple of port holes over the windscreen and OSF window.
:wall:
More cunnting snow
please just fukk off
Coming into work to find approx 50% of people are not in because of a few flakes of snow.
Funny how I made it in perfectly fine in a M3! Makes it pointless being here!
