Update!!!
Since i had this new sound system i have had a hell of a lot of rattling coming from the nova and until recently it's been like that lol...
So with me being a student and that i decided not to buy the expensive sound deadening such as dynamat but to buy flashband that builders use for houses which is much more cheaper and works just aswell if you add layers.
I set about deadening the boot with 2 layers so far for the floor as you can see here which stopped a little rattling...

After the boot i had ordered some GSi rear door cards so thought well the grey ones are off why not do the inner quarter pannel and the out bit of it where the card goes. (not got a before pic of this & only got 1 side pic.)

I then fitted my GSi rear door cards which where a ball ache! mainly because the deadening made it hard to get the clips to go in even though i made holes for them...

Now with my boot floor and rear quarters deadend i have found 2 more sources of rattling which are front door cards/doors and the joint that clips into the back of the rear seats to hold them in place.
Once they are sorted i think anything else will be pretty quiet to hear or unless you are on the outside.
Also yesterday me and my mate decided to make a new front for my box and to port it this time. (not got a pic of this yet)
I am hoping to do the front cards tomorrow/today (30th).
BTW my sub is for sale PM me for details.
Weather aint bad for once so mite actually get some work done today!
Been after some components for the front for a while now but 1st i need a amp for them so i bought a 2 channel kicker amp...

I get paid thurs so should be ordering my components then.

Also got some new pads and discs which will go on tomorrow.
Looking at some new front tyres also
Ready for the winter!
I can't reccomend these enough. If you're still using budgets on the back though I'd urge you to replace all 4 so you don't spin it like I did once or twice, before I was given the advice of having the best tyres on the back.Quote:
