House very sorry for takeing so long to reply just got the details to get the invertor to run 3 phase on a single phase the company in glasgow is (premium power units ltd) there are based in clydebank in glasgow or there is (newton testla ltd) based in warrington there number is 01925 444 773 hope this helps.
Any idea when you might get your box? Looking forward to seeing this thing back on the track
Rocker looks really good, its going to change the direction though for the shifts, does that not bother you? Pushing forward to change up is really unnatural in a competition car....
It retains the same orientation mate, maybe hard to make out in the pics, try my best to explain.
Command shaft is the red arrow, ordinarily the shift rod would act directly into that from the lever (via a rose joint), so pushing the lever forward, drives the command shaft forward and vice versa.
By pivoting the extension above (green pivot) and attaching the shift rod below (yellow arrow) we're able to maintain the orientation, with a slightly lengthened throw, but that should be manageable.

Pic of the lever above, hinged on the floor of the car and the shift rod attaches above, maintaining the orientation.
You're 100% right though my RS6 is push forward for up and pull back for down when using the manual stick shifter and it's stupid!!! You gotta pull back for up and push forward for down!! It's just the way it is!!!
On other news, the box left France today, I have zero time between now and September to do anything so I delivered the car to Ben @ Hangar 30 this morning with the box coming from SWR next week and he's going to stick it all back together, I won't have driveshafts in time for VBOA as they're due first week of August but it'll be back together in a fashion and at the show!!
Thats good news on the box. Hopefully you'll be banging through the gears again soon.

Tranquility base here.....the Eagle has landed
Get it in and up to Sywell next week!
Got some 22 spline shafts here you can use m8
just use broom handles
Due to my work commitments before VBOA, Ben has stepped in and stuck the car back together.

I've missed so much of this awesome build, I'm going to start back at page 1!
Looking amazing. Love the carbon air box too
Snetterton and the first real test of the SADEV. Throttle stop on the pedal box had worked loose meaning we only had 70% throttle at the start of the day in the wet working it's way down to about 40% throttle by the end of the day, I didn't really notice until the last session as I've not driven the car in a year!! Anyway, all sorted now for Snetterton again on the 1/11/22.
Box is lovely, like silk compared to the dog shit quaife!!
A little video

Nice.
Looks to shift beautifully. I had the Quaife sequential in my Escort Cosworth, 'agricultural' is the only word I can use. To be fair it never broke.
Glad to see it's finally sorted house. Looks to be shifting beautifully
New ratios ordered from SWR, should be available to go in as soon as I get the box out, which is coming soon.
Alternator rubs the chassis leg which is what you can hear in the video.
Soaking wet Brands Hatch today, like geeza with a wooden boat and a load of animals 2x2
Had a setup done on the car in the garage, corner weighted and camber and caster adjusted. Should make it feel better when dry weather comes around.

Anyway, little video of a few laps, really hard to get the power down, hardly any full throttle as the car didn't like it and a load of aquaplaning which is slightly bum hole twitchy, which I didn't enjoy so much.

Car looks to be held together with gaffa tape
Ratios are in the box and the engine and box are back in the car.
Top front mount is screwed, we've worked out that the bush is acting in the wrong plane.

Need to spin the bush through 90 degrees, time to get the funk out.....

Freely admit my TIGing is not the best, I probably should have MIG'd it or tacked it and got Ben to do a proper job, as it is as soon as Ben has time this will be re-made by him properly.
But we've got the bush spun through 90 so it's acting in the same plane as the gearbox mount, also lifted the engine 2-3mm which we're hoping will move the alternator away from the chassis leg.
More this week, 4th engine mount, changing master cylinders, prep for Snet in the middle of June.

Got scared when I got to the workshop this morning and looked at it, reverted back to type and fired the MIG up!! Happier with that.
Nice welding,!
TIG was horrendous, MIG slightly better!!!
But we're back in action

Until I found this

My hulk muscles went OTT!!
Gotta get a whole new hose made up as they're crimped fittings!!!
But she doesn't look too bad in her old age
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...903bd02774.jpg
Think Automotive hooked me up with a new hose while I waited
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...740d0a6d82.jpg
Also they gave me the torque figures for each size of fitting so I won't make that mistake again.
All fitted and back up and running.
Booked onto Snetterton 25th of this month for a little shake down and test. Hopefully good weather, forecast looks ok.

No idea if this will make a difference but it looks badass!!!
Board is temporary, I'll add some proper buffalo board when I decide if it makes a difference or not
25th at Snet you say.. half tempted to take mine to work and pop in.
Good work though. I need to get my project post updated.
