Well she's home.

No sound byte/vid as I think my neighbours have had enough for tonight. It sounds like a valver though. Loud as feck!

Obviously with the issues I have with coolant system I havent run it for very long anyway.

I think the brakes are OK. The EVIL noise that I thought was the brakes is one of the coilovers rubbing the back of the wheel. A spacer will sort that, but for anyone reading, if installing coilovers, I'd suggest moving the lower damper mounting inboard by a few mm to avoid this.

Anyway, too much excitement for one day, so I'm off down't pub!

The BTB manifold has a really oddball (but clever) flange on it, I had the corresponding flange welded to the front pipe of the system I bought off Glen & also the manifold seems to end just off to one side of where the std down pipe would end, so the system has been altered to line up.

Will get pics & vids over weekend.

Next jobs are sorting/bleeding brakes & making up vacuum pipes to servo. Tryting to move the rear coilovers off the wheel to stop scrubbing, raising the rear ride height, get the horn working, checking all electrical functions & giving it a valet.

bummer about rear coilover scrubbage... what tyre sizes do you run? and what rear coilovers do you have? (spring ID aswell)

AVO's at the rear mate. 2 1/4" ID (?) Its actually the inner lip of the speedlines that is catching. Hardly any damage to the wheel or spring but mucho's worrying sounds... I'm going to try to move the damper inwards rather than just space the wheel over. My GM 15"s which its been on whilst I've built it clear fine. 6" as opposed to 6.5" widths.
