Thought about building myself an olympic spec bench a few times but cant justify the price of the 3" bar and plates... absolute extortion.
I bought an olympic 100kg dumbbell set a few years ago and quite recently got an olympic bar for £40 off eBay. There's a local place I got my plates from was like £25 for 25kg tri grip plates. All I need is a bench and a squat rack and I can do everything at home. I mostly got the stuff for doing deadlifts at home as the bars are always being used in the gym.
looks like my little bmw adventure could all be over :(
