Aye I'll be the same - Glad all the welding is done on this one...Should be easy work for the rest of it
Could do free stuff like clean the interior and clean out the inside and put the loom in to get this project closer to the finish...

Just read this from the start, great ideas and work mate.
Cheers fella, slow progress due to the time of year and lack of funds
Hopefully it'll pick up sometime in the new year and maybe be ready for Billing 2010...Might be wishful thinking though
MK1 rear arches are 10mm narrower than MK2
I had all sorts of scrubbing problems with my Speedlines front and rear.
Aren't you going all in 1 front bumper? If so Speedlines will look wrong IMO.
Are they?Quote:

Going for the one-piece bumper aye - Speedlines are the biggest and widest wheels I have so was going to use them to trim the arches so anything else I fancy would go on no problem
I think speedlines and one piece bumper grill will look awesome, that's how my cars going to look! Also corsakids nova has speedlines and one piece bumper and grill on and his looks ace!
Probably won't have Speedlines on mine all the time - Want 15's and something a bit more old skool :thumb:
Your Nova gives me loads of inspiration Andy, cheers :)
But they are 1/2 inch narrower, so there is no difference.Quote:

Isn't wrong lol Just maybe not to your taste - I think it looks alright actually
Not be on mine all the time as they were bought for the Mk2 but they'll do for arch trimming :)
rfx's would look mint man
It's getting a set of them lol Rich (Novasport) has them all in his loft/garage
I'm into the old skool/90's TSW look atm - Always looking at cars to get ideas as well
Seen a set of 17" MOMO wheels on a BMW the day, looked cool
av seen a few cars going about with tsw wheels lol.
venoms
stealths - one of my favourites
Stealths are the boy - Usually seen on Cav's :)
Going down to work on the car tomorrow so no doubt have an update of some sort :thumb:
Set of Blades on ebay at the mo
PM me a link please Scott :)
There Here
Cheers mate :thumb:
Thinking about putting these on the Mk1 and spraying them a dark silver colour and sourcing the centre caps for them

= Dec's 16v Mk1
Kinda where I got the idea yes...
there was nova in total vauxhall about 5 years ago as part of a group feature, was red b reg swing or base i think, brown dash, one piece bumper. had 1.3 or 1.4 tuned up with 40's and had team dynamics multi spokes on it. looked very cool and kinda similar look to what your wanting you should try hunting a picture of it.
Don't recall it mate, I'll have a look about though :)
I spotted a Swing in the PNG Features page with Dellorto's...?
might be same one, dont think i have the copy of total vauxhall but will see if i can find it and scan a picture if i do, always remember the car because i wanted one like it lol
you want oldschool lol vaughan get a set of tsw venoms on there they are proper 1990's lol would love a set now sold the old golf and left them on it thought they where dung how times change lol same with my stelths sold them for peanuts :(
I remember your Nova with Stealths on it, there the wheels I really want for it :)

Think he has just been doing bit by bit as funding has been tight etc?

Cheers mate, I owe you one :)
What did you get then dude?
A clean set of 15" TSW Stealths with the centre caps etc
Got some duff 195/65/15 tyres which will be getting changed for 195/45's to give as much clearance as possible
Can't believe I actually got a set :thumb:
wouldnt the stealths not be slightly to wide lad
IMO TSW's went out of fashion for a reason, your car appears to be going into a complete mis-mash of styles.
No idea mate, there Vauxhall fitment anyway
Nah Stealths still look good on cars! Mk3 Astras, Cavaliers and the small amount of Nova's I've seen them on
How is it a mis-mash of styles ?
Plenty of Stealths about these shores, mostly seen on mark 3 Cavalier SRi replicas!
Get it painted white as a Sport replica, you can't go wrong.
Wanting to do it as a red Mk1 Sport Powered SR looker but not following any rules kinda thing but in the future I might convert it to a Sport replica with stickers etc etc
