As i said to Mike at the weekend, its having an opposite effect on me now. Ive been working on it for a while, so when i see the back end of a hatchback Nova, I start to think it looks odd because there's no tow hitch sticking out of it lolQuote:

We've had a mince about & think about lowering it, an the general consensus is yes, by 30mm, providing once loaded it'll still make it/down Lee's lane/driveway.
All being well should be making some more progress this weekend as Ill be heading back up there (once i call Lee & confirm it lol)
Preppage :)

Aftre attaching the tailgate we realised the part of the shell where the strut attaches was splitting away from the body (mint shell lol) so had to weld it up

Looking good :) Is that just parcel paper you're using for masking? I'm gonna be doing the interior/bay of mine at some point, was thinking about parcel paper myself.
You can get it from Bodyshops as well Mark, in mahoosive rolls.
Dan popped up to lay the paint on. As per usual he did a fantastic job. Any bits that didnt come up to scratch were due to the conditions in the barn, and the prep as some of the rags we used to wipe the panels down seemed to have a small amount of silicones impregnated in them). Luckily, Dan managed to save a few bits that could have spelled disaster, so big thanks for your time today big man :)
Some pics.

Once the paint had touch dried we started refitting bits, but wont put everything back till next weekend when the paints gone off properly
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...y/100_1167.jpg
Then we started to paint the insidey bits
