Getting 2.0 fitting kit and the arb lowering blocks, considered the plating kit and the strut tops but decided against. Reasons, firstly I want this project to be cheap and I'd rather put the cash towards a mig welder.
Good man, personally i dont believe the plating kit is at all needed on a road going car, be it track or road (unless you start running uber powered LETs or are planning on some stage rallies!)Quote:

Right, with help from burgo I modified/strengthend the gearbox mount. Im gonna head up to screw fix tommorow and buy a mig welder.
Been spending too much time at the pub and not enough time on the car, so tommorow I will be welding up that bay!

Without Chris Astley kit - you can see the areas I carefully and very accuratly chopped out with an angle grinder!
