good thread mate! does look good! will be good to see the 40's on etc
This is a quality car and thread!! Its quiet suprising how many bits can be "swapped" between Vauxhall's cos i'd of never of thought about a C14SE head and a 1300 carb inlet, its just amazing what can be learnt! I know now who to go to when i need some technical tips :D. And i agree go for the hurricane grey wheels, looks spot on! Keep up the good work Ad!
Dan
Cheers for comments.
Wheels shall be finished this week.
And i'll decide what do with the carbs,Lol.
Do you just use halfords spray on the wheels? Got a set coming that i need to do.
Also do you laquer them?
that has inspired me!!! amazing
did ur (1.2i was it) have a five speed box???
Paul
Yeah Rick.
Normal spray paint from halfords/motor factors.
If you do a colour like gloss black/grey you dont need laquer as its not met.
But i always laquer things like bumpers/wheels to help with stone chips.
So i will be laquering them when there finished.
Just hope tyre fitter dont wreck them,Lol.
Heres a guide from mig/mk3oc:-
